Tipping Point player dubbed Ant and Dec's 'long lost twin' over uncanny appearance

Tipping Point viewers were left perplexed following this afternoon's episode.

The show saw host Ben Shephard welcome another four contestants to the famous ITV studio as they battled it out to win the highly sought-after cash prizes.

But as the cameras panned across the players, eagle-eyed viewers at home did a double-take upon seeing contestant Mark's familiar face.

At first, fans at home couldn't quite place where they knew Mark from.

That was until one Twitter user pointed out that the Tipping Point player was the 'long lost twin' of Ant and Dec.

"This is weird. He's Ant and Dec. He's not just Ant and he's not just Dec - he's Ant and Dec together!" another quipped.

"My eyes must be playing tricks on me because that due Mark looks like Ant and Dec's lovechild!" echoed a third fan.

While a fourth tweeted: "Hahah now I can't unsee the fact that he's the image of Ant and Dec."

It didn't stop there though as another viewer suggested that player Mark was the duo's long-lost brother.

"Mark is definitely Ant and Dec's long lost brother. Or love child... I am so confused by this!" they joked.

Unfortunately for the familiar-faced contestant, he was eliminated in the first round of the show..

"They need to discover their triplet," insisted an eager admirer.

While another quipped: "Maybe he's off to have a socially distanced chat with his long lost parents!"

Fans reckoned that Mark was the long lost brother of Ant or Dec (ITV)

Once Mark was out of the race, viewers could once again concentrate on the game at hand.

The episode ended with confident contestant Andrea walking away as the winner.
