Tipping Point host Ben Shephard was left 'in a spin' as a contestant scored a huge first for the show during filming for its new series.
From Monday, avid viewers of the ITV quiz show will get to see new episodes filmed during lockdown and Ben gave a teaser what to expect during an appearance on This Morning this week.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford asked him if he gets annoyed when the Tipping Point machine doesn't play ball and he replied: "I find it very hard not to take it personally when the machine doesn't want to give out the cash.
"I love giving away ITV's money, it's an absolute gift for me and I get really cross with the machine...and also the contestants when they get it wrong."
Ruth then quizzed "any big winners?" and it was then that Ben dropped the bombshell about something that happened in one of the soon to be seen episodes.
He told her: "We have a double jackpot winner.
"We also had something that had never happened before and we have filmed over 1,000 episodes...both doubles fall at the same time.
"A double, double drop which threw everyone into a spin.

"They have these things called bibles for gameshows and we had to stop filming to see if anyone knew what to do when that happened.
"It was miraculous comeback from the contestant who gets it!"
Ben's This Morning appearance came after he opened up about a Covid-enforced rule change that had left him "unable to cope."
Prior to COVID-19, Ben was famous for going in for a cuddle to congratulate or commiserate quiz hopefuls but, due to social distancing restrictions, he hasn't been allowed to do that on episodes filmed since the first lockdown last year.
And he revealed that the same rule remains. One fan told him: "You seem so sweet!!!! I call you huggy boy. Looking forward to new series," to which the 46-year-old replied: "Sadly still no hugs."
Reacting to Ben's teaser of double jackpots, another follower replied: "You’ll have sore shoulders after all them jackpot hugs!" but Ben answered: "No hugs for a while sadly."
