ITV viewers may be disappointed to find that some of their favourite quiz shows won't be airing for the remainder of this week.
As of today, June 14, up until Friday, June 17, ITV have cancelled airing Tipping Point and The Chase. This is to make way for ITV Racing Live as they broadcast Royal Ascot instead.
The racing will run from 1.30pm to 6pm each day meaning that it takes over the quiz show's normal slots. Tipping Point is normally hosted by Ben Shepherd from 4pm and Bradley Walsh hosts The Chase straight after from 5pm. Both of the shows are set to return on Monday June 20 at their normal times.

Royal Ascot is a prestigious event which takes place over five days in mid-June every year. It is often attended by the Queen and many members of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II has only missed one event during her 70 year reign, and that was in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.
The racing began today in front of a full capacity crowd of 70,000 for the first time since 2019, after the event was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic for the past two years. It will take place between Tuesday June 14 and Saturday June 18.
