A GAA player left the field in the middle of hurling match because he had some very important business to attend to.
Fr Vinny Stapleton substituted himself after about 45 minutes because he had to leave and say mass in Tipperary over the weekend.
Despite getting on the scoreboard for Borris-Ileigh last night, he couldn't leave his congregation waiting and he left the match before the final whistle.
The well-known hurling club were playing Thurles Sarsfields in the "Tipperary Water" County Senior Hurling League - Round 5 when the change occurred.
Sports reporter Shane Stapleton was on the sideline during the game.
He said: "My first cousin, Fr Vinny Stapleton, substitutes himself midway through the second half of a league game against Sars to go say mass.
"Blessed us with a couple of lovely points. No, this is not a joke."
One twitter user joked: "If I was the manager, I’d go through him, with him, in him."
Father Vinny got on the score sheet on the 26th minute with a point that brought them within touching distance of the opposition.
He popped over another four minutes into the second half before he had to attend to clerical duties.
In the end, it finished 2-23 to 0-16 in favour of Sars.
