Tipperary boosted by Cathal Barrett inclusion for Munster final against Limerick

Tipperary have been boosted by the inclusion of Cathal Barrett in the line-up for Sunday's Munster SHC final against Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.

Corner-back Barrett was all but ruled out of the decider by Tipp boss Liam Sheedy with a pulled hamstring after the Premier's win over Limerick in the last round of the province's round-robin series a fortnight ago.

However Tipp have named just one change from the said that won that day in Thurles, with Dan McCormack replacing Patrick 'Bonnar' Maher, whose season was ended by a cruciate ligament injury, in the forward line.

Meanwhile Brian Cody has named an unchanged Kilkenny side for the Leinster SHC final against Wexford at Croke Park on Sunday, the first meeting of the rivals in the provincial decider in 11 years.

The counties met in a thrilling encounter at Innovate Wexford Park three weeks ago that ended in a draw.

TIPPERARY: B Hogan; C Barrett, J Barry, S O'Brien; B Maher, P Maher, R Maher; M Breen, N McGrath; J Forde, J O'Dwyer, D McCormack; J McGrath, S Callanan, J Morris.

KILKENNY: E Murphy; P Murphy, H Lawlor, J Holden; P Deegan, P Walsh, E Morrissey; C Buckley, C Fogarty; R Leahy, W Walsh, TJ Reid; B Ryan, C Fennelly, A Mullen.
