Tiny tots receive UKG certificate at Appa Public School

Over 120 smartly dressed students received their graduation certificates after completing UKG from the Chairperson of the Sharnbasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Matoshree Dr. Dakshayini Avvaji and other dignitaries, including Lakshmi Dattatreya Patil Revoor, Jayashree Basavaraj Mattimud and Indushree Gurukar. An added attraction to the function was the ninth Peetathipathi of the Sharnbasaveshwar Samasthan Poojya Chiranjivi Doddappa Appa who inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dakshyani Avvaji remarked that the very idea of Dasoha subsisted in the unity of mankind which is possible only through proper education and the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha is committed to providing opportunities for better education for all.

Dr. Avvaji congratulated all the tiny tots who graduated from UKG with formal education and appreciated the staff who were instrumental in the successful completion of these children from Kindergarten education.

Ms. Indushree Gurukar, while congratulating the young KG graduates, said that people across society have expressed satisfaction with the quality education being imparted in the Appa Public School. She noted that the school has been able to live up to the expectations of the people of the region.

Ms. Lakshmi Dattatreya Patil Revoor said that Vidya Vardak Sangha has contributed immensely to educational development and empowerment of Kalyana Karnataka.

Ms. Jayashree Basavaraj Mattimud spoke about her experience as an alumni parent of the public school and pointed out that her son also graduated successfully a few years ago and the quality education provided in the school helped him to put a firm foot forward towards his career.

Coordinator of the Kindergarten Kamakshi Katti presented a report of the Kindergarten activities over the last two years. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Shankargouda Hosamani said that joining Kindergarten is all equipped to make students strong in their communication and help develop their personality.

The programme started with a procession of graduating students flanked by NCC cadets under Gangadhar and Scouts and Guides led by Uday Kumar. The graduating students were received with flowers at the Poojya Basavarajappa Appa Memorial Hall. The entire ceremony was a scintillating show of performance of dance, music and action songs, in front of a crowd of parents jam-packed in the auditorium.

Ashrita (KG teacher) and Bhagyashree, a student from UKG, anchored the programme with their energetic presentations.
