Tiny London flat with bunk bed next to kitchen and no bathroom door costs £875 a month

A small studio flat which has a bunk bed right next to the kitchen and a bathroom without a door can be rented for £875 a month.

The property in Barons Court, west London, is described on the property website Rightmove as a "good size studio" despite being only 140 square feet.

It features an area with a bunk bed just next to the kitchen, with no space to walk around.

Pictures on the property site also show a shower within the studio with a curtain, but no door separating it from the rest of the living area, My London reports.

It is not clear where the toilet is as it cannot be seen from the images posted on the listing.

The 3.89m x 3.30m flat is on Castletown Road, not far from Fulham, and is set on the third floor of a brick building.

It is close to West Kensington and Barons Court underground stations for an easy commute.

There are local amenities too, including a Michelin-starred pub called The Harwood Arms and plenty of shops.

It costs £875 per month, is available for a long let, and can be rented with zero deposit.

Estate agents Foxtons described the flat as "a good-sized living space that is presented in a neutral décor."

Foxtons added the flat has bright and airy interiors and an open plan kitchen with built-in storage.

Last month, a property smaller than the size of an average parking space went on sale for £150,000.

The studio in Notting Hill, west London, is just 79 square feet (7.3 square metres) and contains a bed, sink, toilet and shower - but no kitchen.

In comparison, the typical size of a parking space in the UK is 124 square feet.

The property cannot be occupied as a permanent residence or let out, the sellers have stated, and only cash purchases will be accepted.

According to the property website Zoopla, the flat offers "a wonderful opportunity to create a London bolt hole in this prime central location".
