A café in Edinburgh has become one of Tripadvisor's top places to eat out in the capital.
Piecebox, an independent caff situated in Polwarth, has been awarded a Travellers’ Choice award by the online travel company - a prize given to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
The wee 40-seater eatery has been open since 2011 and serves up a huge menu of all-day breakfasts (with veggie and vegan friendly options a-plenty) as well as Mexican inspired dishes, burgers and club sandwiches.
The café is also fully licenced - meaning that you can enjoy a glass of bubbles, a Bloody Mary or a beer with your brunch.
The team wrote on Instagram : "Top 10% in the world? Not bad for a 40 seat independent café in Edinburgh!

The café recently underwent a mini-refurb to make the venue more post-lockdown friendly and now features table screens, a handwash station and a new ventilation system.
