Tinder hack lets you see who swiped for you – without paying to upgrade

Millions of people around the world have turned to dating apps to try and find love, or at least a potential fling.

But despite the wide range of people using apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge every day, locking down that perfect match is no easy task – especially when some apps limit the amount of matches you see and hide others behind a paywall.

However, Tinder users think they have discovered a way to view more of their potential matches without shelling out for the app’s premium service, Tinder Gold.

It seems you can see more of your potential matches simply by logging into the desktop app.

When you sign into the site, there's a section where Tinder invites you to buy a Gold membership, which blurs out the faces of people who have liked you.

But tech savvy people have discovered you can easily unblur the images on Google Chrome.

To try the trick for yourself, you have to start by right clicking on an image and then selecting 'inspect' from the menu that pops up.

A box filled with confusing looking code should then show up on the right-hand side – but don’t panic, simply right click the picture again and press ‘inspect’ once more.

Now, you should be able to see the word ‘blur’ somewhere amongst the code in the box on the right-hand side.

If you delete the word 'blur' from the code and hit enter, the image should be crystal clear, letting you see the person who liked your profile.

However, the hack only lets you see the other person's photo and name - you can't go to their profile or match with them this way.

But if you really like the look of them, you could always sign up for the Gold subscription, which should actually allow you to view their profile and more.

At the very least, the hack lets you see whether your potential matches are actually worth the price of Tinder Gold.

Happy Tindering!
