It seems not a week goes by without something bizarre happening on Tinder.
Recently we heard all about a man who tried to send the same pickup line to multiple women on the dating app only for it to backfire spectacularly when he discovered two of the women not only knew each other, but were housemates.
And this week in weird Tinder news, a woman has shared the surprising excuse she was given when rejected by a possible date.
Taking to Twitter , the woman named Danielle shared a screenshot from a conversation she'd been having with a man named Jan.
Jan messaged Danielle to ask what charcuterie was.
Danielle explained that it's a "board full of meat and cheese and grapes that you have with wine."
Sounds pretty tasty, right?
Well Jan wasn't exactly convinced by the explanation.
He replied, saying he wasn't ready to share one with her.
"Mmh. I am sorry. I don't think I am ready for that," he wrote.
Baffled and slightly amused by his response, Danielle shared it, joking that "the boys in Germany are different".
Her post quickly went viral, garnering over 42,000 likes and 3,900 replies.
One person commented: "F*** that, I am always down for charcuterie."
"Germans wouldn't know good food if it beat them in two work wars," said a second.
Another added: "Not ready for charcuterie? What? How? I'm always ready for charcuterie."
