Dynamic pop legend Tina Turner is loving taking it easy as she approaches her 80th.
She has partied with the greats during her decades living the showbiz lifestyle.
But the pop star told how she now prefers housework as she approaches her 80th birthday.
Tina, who has performed with the likes of David Bowie, Paul McCartney and Elton John, is taking life slowly after retiring from the music scene.
She said: “I got tired of partying. It is continuous. I love retirement.
"I love the house cleaning as when you don’t do it you get to crave it.”
But Tina, who is 80 on Tuesday, revealed there is still a lingering aspect of her wild days – the late nights.
She added: “I still sleep as I slept when I was on tours. I go to bed about 12.30am or 1am and get up at 10.30am or 11am. I have stayed in bed for a whole day.”
