Tina O'Brien has posted another cryptic message following her ex Ryan Thomas ' baby news — after deleting her first one.
The Coronation Street actress, 36, took to Instagram to share a quote saying that "people will hear what they want to hear".
It appears to be referencing the furore caused by her now-deleted post in which she said you shouldn't "trust" what you see on social media.
Tina had posted it after Ryan announced that his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh is expecting their first baby together, an announcement they made on Instagram.
She now seems to be suggesting that her original post wasn't about the couple's baby news.
Her new post featured the motivational quote on a black and white background with a woman looking out to sea.
It read: "Don't waste your time with explanations. People will hear what they want to hear."
But her Instagram followers weren't expressed by the apparent backtack.
One commented: "These posts dont coincide with the news of the ex’s baby at all."
"Last quote been deleted gotta get over it love!" another posted.
A third said: "Funny how you deleted your last post though."
Ryan had shared a a tear-jerking video of daughter Scarlett , who he shares with Tina, finding out their happy news.
Ten-year-old Scarlett was candidly filmed opening a box that revealed she was to have a new baby brother or sister causing her to burst into tears.
Days later, Tina took to Instagram on Monday night to share a quote that read: "Don't always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar."
Former real life soap couple Tina and Ryan dated for six years before splitting in 2009.
The duo have remained on good terms and co-parent their daughter Scarlett, who was born a year before they split.
Tina married her boyfriend Adam Croft - who she met in a coffee shop- on New Year's Eve 2018.
