Tina Malone was flooded with support as she announced her 60th birthday.
The Liverpool actress wasted no time breaking the news as she tweeted out, "IM NOW 60!!!!!" at the stroke of midnight last night. The milestone birthday post ushered in a wave of compliments for the star with fans and celebrity pals alike calling her an "icon" and declaring she "doesn't look a day over 30".
Tina partied the night away in a private get-together of close friends over the weekend. Several videos from the evening emerged on social media showing the 60-year-old dancing and knocking back shots at a bar.

Liverpool legend Pete Price was on the list of invited guests but had to turn down the occasion due to work commitments. Friends who managed to party with Tina took to social media to wish her a happy birthday while sharing a range of photos from the night's antics.
One pal said: "Lovely night celebrating a very special lady's birthday." Another added: "Happy Birthday gorgeous!! Have a fabulous day and let your hair down!! Xx"
A complimentary fan managed to get a response from the actress after admitting she thought she was still in her 30s. Tina said: "Are you kidding me lol I've got a daughter 42 this year xxx."
