Tina Brown's website The Daily Beast has been launched (though I couldn't access it because it demands a password). But paidcontent did, so you can read its review here. According to the Financial Times, contributors to the Beast - named after the paper in Evelyn Waugh's Scoop - include Nigella Lawson, the US satirist Christopher Buckley, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Somali-born Dutch politician.
