Timo Werner's three-word message ahead of Leipzig farewell as he prepares for Chelsea transfer

New Chelsea signing Timo Werner is preparing to say goodbye to current club RB Leipzig.

Werner will arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer on a £47.5m deal, penning a five-year contract earlier this month.

But first, he has a chapter to close in Germany with current club RB Leipzig.

Tomorrow, Werner will play his last game for the club as the Bundesliga season draws to a close.

Leipzig are in action against Augsburg (2.30pm) and they head into the game needing to match Borussia Monchengladbach's result to secure third spot, with just one point and one place separating the two teams.

It will be the last time Werner wears the Leipzig shirt and he has posted a message on his social media, saying 'one last time' with a picture of his celebrating a goal for Leipzig.

The German will say goodbye to the club tomorrow before having his medical and adding the final touches to his Chelsea deal ahead of next season.

Before he does that, he will look to add to his impressive Bundesliga goal tally of 26 - he has also assisted eight times - with many Chelsea fans will likely tune in for one last look of what their club are getting.
