Timo Werner has taken to life in London like a duck to water with two exceptions - the traffic and deciphering the complicated language of his post.
The 24-year-old gave his first press conference since signing from RB Leipzig for £47.5million on Thursday afternoon and after explaining the role Frank Lampard played in convincing him to join, along with the interest shown from Liverpool, he discussed his initial impressions of living in the capital.
"The life in London is good, I've already got an apartment in the city," he said.
"That was really important for me to settle down fast into my own space where I can be after games and training, to feel at home.
"Also the driving, I drive on my own, so that was also a problem at the beginning of course. But now it works very well.
"And now I thank also the people around me the staff, the manager, the players it was a really warm welcome from them.
"So it makes it really easy to come here and play for the club. It's really fun to walk through the streets in London and live the experience. It's great."
Asked what he finds different about English people compared to Germans, he elaborated on his initial issue with the roads plus reading his bills.
"In some points the English people are different to the German people in of course, but in the end we are all European, so it's nearly the same.
"For Germans the traffic that you drive on the left side, because when you walk you have to start looking right not left. So that's dangerous...
"But it's easy to come here because the people around me are so nice and helped me a lot in every situation.
"My English is not so bad but to read the hard English when you get bills or something, it's sometimes hard but I have a lot of help here and it makes it easy for me."
