Chelsea seal new long-term contract for wonderkid

Tino Anjorin has signed a new long-term deal with Chelsea.

The 18-year-old is one of the most exciting prospects coming through the academy right now and has already made his first team debut.

The attacking midfielder had his first senior appearance in the 7-1 rout of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup, before coming on as a substitute in the Premier League win over Everton before the season was suspended.

And now Anjorin is set to commit his long-term future to the Blues with a five-year deal at the club.

Roman Abramovich sends message

Roman Abramovich sent a message of congratulation to Emma Hayes within hours of Chelsea being crowned Women's Super League champions on Friday, with the head coach saying that the owner's support and increasing knowledge has made the club flagbearers in England.

Hayes, who won her seventh major trophy by virtue of a controversial points per game system, said that the club has never been more joined-up in their work between departments and believes that it could set a platform for a period of dominance.

Owen Hargreaves believes Timo Werner would have been “perfect” for Manchester United.

The Blues are moving nearer to signing the German after pushing ahead of Liverpool in the queue to sign one of the most highly-coveted young forwards in world football.

Sources have told  football.london  that there is now a "high probability" that Frank Lampard’s side will activate the striker's €55million release clause before it expires on June 15.

While Bild reported last week that a deal is done and that Werner will sign a five-year deal.

And Hargreaves is surprised that his old club didn’t make their own move to secure the forward’s services this summer. Read here
