Timo Werner makes transfer declaration amid Manchester United speculation

RB Leipzig star Timo Werner has revealed he has no intention of leaving the Bundesliga side amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Germany international was expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window but his reported move to Bayern Munich collapsed and he ultimately stayed put; signing a new contract.

His new deal reportedly contains a release clause - some outlets claim the fee would be as low as £25million while others speculate it would take £52m to trigger.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all reportedly registered an interest in the 23-year-old who has scored 18 goals in 17 league appearances.

While discussing his future, Werner admitted the Premier League interests him but he isn't considering a move anytime soon.

"The Premier League is certainly the most interesting league, you have to say," he told Bild.

"There is a certain flair to watching the English league and playing there.

"But many Germans have also been very successful in Spain, such as Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil.

"As of now I have no desire to look for a move elsewhere."
