Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made by Stephan Pastis

Stephan Pastis, Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made

Timmy Failure runs a crime detective agency with his polar bear Total. Together they solve lots of mysteries. They are already trying to solve a stolen chocolate mystery when Timmy's Segway disappears. This can only mean one thing – Corinna is back!

Not only that – Corinna pays lots of money to have the zoo renamed 'Corinna Ville'. Things get even worse when Timmy's mum discovers he is running a detective agency and posts Total to the zoo.

Disaster strikes when Corinna pays lots of money to get Total. Luckily the zoo is late posting him so Timmy holds Rice Krispy treats over his head, high in the air, and Total leaps over the bars of his enclosure to freedom and sinks his Teeth into the Rice Krispies.

This book has a lot of complicated words about Timmy's detective work but actually this is all just a lot of mischief. For example he says "I must report I have some devastating news" when he can't find his pen, and he gives Gabe a huge questionnaire about some missing chocolate. The contrast between the official language and the silly problems is really funny.

If I had more copies of this book I would give them to all my friends as I really enjoyed reading it.
