Last night, Times Now apologised for "erroneously reporting" Mumbai-based actor Shruti Gera’s "claims...as allegations against Raj Kundra".
Times Now regrets wrongful attribution of statements given by Mumbai-based model Shruti Gera in her interview to the channel. Her claims were erroneously reported as allegations against Raj Kundra. The apology came after Gera tweeted that Times Now had taken her words out of context after interviewing her on her experiences of the "casting couch". She claimed the channel had taken a three-minute clip from her 20-minute interview and used it to "grab eyeballs".
Gera reiterated that she did not know Kundra, who was arrested last week in connection with an adult film racket.
@TimesNow is this responsibile journalism ? To take a 3 min clip from a 20 min interview and use it to grab eyeballs . I will take legal action if this isn’t removed immediately ! Disgusted

Gera also tweeted that she would be "clearing the air" on her "favourite news channel", Republic.
