Timelapse video shows huge snow storm hit American stadium

A timelapse video shows the huge amount of snowfall that hit an American stadium, as well as the continuous efforts by grounds staff to clear it.

The Kinnick Stadium in Iowa, home to the Iowa Hawkeyes, can be seen covered in snow as the night goes on, with the large state experiencing up to 18 inches of snowfall.

The ground staff at the stadium can also be seen continuously clearing the snow, only for their hard work to be repeated several times due to the unrelenting nature of the storm.

A team of 30 to 40 people and four snow ploughs cleared the snow, which fell persistently for 15 hours.

The work was far from in vain however, as Saturday's game went ahead without a hitch, as the Hawkeyes sealed a B1G West Division title after being Purdue 40-20.

The result was enough to warm the freezing crowd, who turned out to see the Hawkeyes maintain an unbeaten record this season.
