England's 4-0 win over Iceland on Wednesday night brought about a special moment for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
And perhaps for a future Blues player too.
West Ham United's Declan Rice, who has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge at some point in 2021, broke the deadlock in the first-half at Wembley Stadium by glancing in Phil Foden's free-kick.
That was the Hammers star's first senior goal for the national team and moments later he was celebrating again, this time for Mount as the Chelsea youngster swiftly doubled England's lead.
It's not lost on many that Mount and Rice are close friends.
In fact, the latter revealed the role he played in the Blues midfielder's first home goal for England in the 2-1 win over Belgium last month.
"I thought he (Mount) worked excellently all night. That's a position that's really hard to play in a 5-2-3 because he's always scanning, always pressing and he thoroughly deserved his goal," Rice said, as quoted by the Times.
"I said to him, 'You've got to do that more often — don’t think about passing it around the box, get your shots off because you never know what's going to happen.'
"He might have laid that ball off, the ball wouldn't have gone in the back of the net.
"So, delighted to see my best mate score again for England and hopefully I can pop up with one soon. I'm due one."
Rice's wish for an England goal has since been granted and the fact he and Mount were both on the scoresheet has garnered a big response on social media.

As revealed by football.london, one of Marina Granovskaia's next two Chelsea transfer priorities to complete Frank Lampard's squad is to sign a defensive midfielder.
And the top target for Lampard is Rice.
Judging by the reaction from the Blues fans above, Rice would be the perfect midfielder for Mount at club and international level for years to come.
