'Time to come home!' - West Ham's Declan Rice post hijacked by Chelsea fans

Chelsea fans have made it clear they want Declan Rice to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Rice has been linked with a £70million switch to Stamford Bridge this summer with Frank Lampard said to be a big fan of the 21-year-old.

But for now, Rice is going about his work for current club West Ham, who suffered defeat to Newcastle in their season opener on the weekend.

The game was Rice's 100th Premier League appearance for the Hammers, and he paid tribute to the landmark on Twitter, writing: "Not the result or performance we wanted last night, but a very proud moment to have made my 100th premier league appearance. Hopefully many more to come."

Chelsea reach Edouard Mendy transfer agreement

Chelsea fans have responded in droves to that post, telling Rice his future should be at Stamford Bridge.

Here's what fans have had to say.

Rice has been with West Ham since 2014 when he joined after eight years with the Chelsea academy.

The Blues could pay a big price for allowing Rice to leave as a youngster, missing the chance to save £70million by keeping him around as a young player.
