Dark prison drama, Time, is gaining fans as they binge on the three-part BBC series and many are asking will there be a second series of the show?
Starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, Time follows new prisoner Mark Cobden (Bean) and prison officer Eric McNally (Graham) and the tough and scary experiences of being inside.
Cobden is doing four years for killing someone and on the other side of the line, Eric is forced to choose between being a decent prison officer and protecting his family after threats from the prison's most dangerous inmates.
All episodes of the drama are currently available on iPlayer and it is also airing weekly on Sunday evenings at 9pm, but will there be a follow up series and is it based on a true story?
Will there be a series two of Time?
The BBC has not yet confirmed whether there will be a follow-up series.
A three-parter, Time looks like it's a limited series, so a second lot of episodes is unlikely. But, you never know.
Is Time a true story?
It's not a true story. But Stephen Graham has revealed to The Sun that he shadowed a real prison officer to get his performance as accurate as possible.
"‘I absorbed this fella like a sponge. These prison guards, they’re trying to do a job to the best of their ability," said the This Is England and Line of Duty actor.
"Their job is to protect themselves, protect the prisoners and make it a nice, reasonable, cohesive place where everyone can do their time, treated with respect."
