Time for Kanye to butt out as Kim and Amber Rose make up?

Well, you don’t have to be much of a negotiations junkie to work out that Amber Rose is the David Cameron in all this. Behold – a still from the high-level summit between Kim Kardashian and Rose, who held talks on their family feud on Monday before reaching some kind of deal.

Like so many of Kim’s off-the-cuff selfies, it appears to have been shot on a $30,000 lighting budget. But that’s not important right now, because it is time to go inside the discussions and ask: is this a substantive renegotiation of Amber’s role in That Area? She’s going to have a tough time selling it that way. Some claim she’s going to get a guest appearance on Keeping Up With the Kardashians out of it; others hint that she has at least done enough to win over Boris Johnson.

Arguably the biggest win in the talks was the so-called “emergency brake”, a system whereby Kim can stop Kanye’s excesses. Basically, if he has been up all night agreeing with himself a raft of measures to draw a line under an internet spat – which may or may not include a casual, calming reference to That Area – Kim now has the right to operate a “safeguard mechanism” on any such tweet.
