Timberland dropped limited-edition boots tributing the Boston Celtics

The footwear company Timberland released its latest NBA collaboration, dropping its iconic boots customized for fans of the Boston Celtics.

Timberland’s previous collab with Mitchell & Ness and the NBA featured retro logos from several different teams, including relocated and renamed franchises like the Seattle SuperSonics and Washington Bullets. This was similar to the trendy Supreme collection with the league, shouting out several teams in one design.

Timberland’s new drop with the NBA has a similar design that celebrates the rivalry between the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference, seen in the show below directly in the middle.

But the real treat is for those who just want to support their favorite team, as these limited-edition kicks marry the signature look of the boots with a subtle nod to four other NBA franchises as well.

Boston fans, of course, can rock the all-green, six-inch boot with matching green laces and they’re waterproof for the Northeastern winters. But fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors will also have the opportunity to join the fun as the shoes hit stores on October 25.

It’s also worth mentioning that this collaboration is in tandem with NBA Cares, who have partnered with the Student Conservation Association. Together, volunteers will help transform green spaces with events later this season located in both Boston and Los Angeles.
