There wasn’t much in the way of good vibes coming out of the Washington Redskins taking a big loss to the New York Giants in Week 4.
But looking a bit closer, it seems the play of Tim Settle qualifies.
Over at Pro Football Focus, Settle was one of the main talking points of praise when reviewing the game:
Tim Settle was a beast in the interior of the Redskins defensive line, wreaking havoc on the Giants’ offensive line. Settle had a couple of run stops but was constantly making plays and forcing the opposing running backs to adjust their point of attack.
Settle only has four total tackles on the season, yet the film speaks to the difference he’s making on the line.
Viewed as a steal of a pick in the fifth round of the 2018 draft, Settle is an increasingly important piece of a line that looks to be the strength of the team.
So far, Settle’s strong start the season shouldn’t get lost in the overall disappointment of an 0-4 mark.
