Tim McCann insists Larne aren't pressing any panic buttons following latest defeat

Tim McCann insists Larne won't be pressing any panic buttons following their latest defeat.

The Premiership new boys lost 1-0 at Solitude to slip to seventh in the Irish Premiership table.

Joe Gormley missed a penalty for Cliftonville before Ryan Curran scored the winner three minutes from time.

It was the only goal in a disjointed game in North Belfast.

"When you come to places like Solitude, Windsor or Seaview, you have to take your chances," McCann said.

"We are just not clinical enough at this moment in time."

He added: "You can't for one second be off your guard or not run that extra five yards, or you get punished at this level.

"We are still learning and inexperienced. People keep talking about the money and all that, but we are still human beings.

"We just came out of the Championship and we are still trying to find our feet.

"And anyone who has watched us will have seen we haven't really been turned over. The Ballymena game was a freak but we have been doing alright."
