Tim Lovejoy leaves Sunday Brunch viewers in stitches after falling backwards live on air

Tim Lovejoy left Sunday Brunch viewers in stitches after taking a huge tumble backwards live on air.

Simon Rimmer couldn't contain himself after seeing his co-host fall backwards during the hilarious blunder that left Tim with his legs up in the air.

Just seconds into the show this morning, Tim couldn't stand on his own two feet for much longer, before losing balance and taking a hilarious tumble backwards.

The pair were back on live TV this morning after Channel 4 announced a stop to the show, changing their mind soon after.

Tim and Simon were joined with singer Izzy Bizu on the sofa, who burst out with laughter soon after Tim went flying.

As the hosts began introducing the lineup for today's show, Tim seemed to have gotten a bit too excited.

He began jumping up and down before falling into the corner of the set - prompting everyone in the studio and behind the camera to laugh uncontrollably.

"On the show this morning… Izzy, stop laughing! On the sofa this morning, we’ll be joined by Maya Jama…”

Tim and Simon are currently back live on-air and are adhering to the social distancing guidelines.

Channel 4 was forced to cancel the live shows at the end of March, however bosses have come up with ways to keep the on-air show afloat by implementing safety measures.
