Tim Cahill makes Everton return as he continues to work towards next stage of career

Everton hero Tim Cahill has returned to the club to help complete his coaching badges.

The Australian has been back at the Blues' Finch Farm training complex for the past few weeks as he works towards gaining a Uefa A-licence.

Cahill, who made over 270 appearances for the club, has been helping to coach a variety of age groups at the Academy.

The 39-year-old announced his retirement from football in March having played in the Indian Super League.

After leaving Everton for Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls, Cahill would go onto play for Shanghai Shenhua, Hangzhou Greentown, Melbourne City, returned to former club Milwall, before finishing his career with Jamshedpur in India.

But the Goodison favourite is currently back at where he is working towards his coaching qualifications.
