Tills stolen during break-in at Tesco Express in Arnold

Police were called to Tesco Express in Arnold after reports of a break-in during the early hours of Thursday, December 12.

Officers were called to the store in Howbeck Road at around 3.50am following reports of a burglary.

A police spokesman said it was reported that two men broke into the store and stole two tills with cash inside.

Both men left the scene running down the side to Killisick Lane.

One of the men was described as wearing beige or grey clothing and the other man was wearing dark clothing with a hood.

If anyone has any information or witnessed the incident please call 101, quoting incident number 69 of 12 December 2019.

A Tesco spokesperson said: We’re helping the police with their investigation following a burglary overnight at our Arnold Nottingham Express. The store is now open as normal and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused during the temporary closure.
