Till reportedly stolen during break-in at popular fish and chip shop

Images have been issued after an alleged break-in at a popular Nottinghamshire fish and chip shop.

The suspected break-in at Starfish Traditional Fish & Chips, in Hickings Lane, Stapleford, took place at around 1.30am on the morning of Friday, November 12.

Police were at the scene at around 10am, according to an eyewitness.

A picture from the scene shows one of the windows on the far left has been entirely smashed, with shards of glass littered along the pavement.

Workers have also said a till was stolen.

They have appealed to people nearby that may also have CCTV footage for help.
