Irit Smith, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra clarinet player for the Till Eulenspiegel concert

Queensland Symphony Orchestra players perform Richard Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel, a piece that was originally based on a trickster figure for Middle German folklore. Strauss’ score is more famous than the tale of Till Eulenspiegel itself, having been rearranged for a many different ensembles. The ensemble – Alan Smith on violin, Alexis Kenny on flute, Irit Smith on clarinet and Lauren Manuel on horn – will also play pieces from Debussy, Crusell and Berwald.
