One TikToker decided there weren’t enough fine dining options for one insect species and so decided to create their own DIY restaurant... for ants.
The TikToker known as “@z.blogs” shared how she transformed some old cardboard into a mini restaurant, drawing circles to place small quantities of different foods for the ants to enjoy.

Some of the food on offer included: honey, cheese, sugar, and apple slices- so the small insects were in for a treat.
The camera then shows the ants flocking to get a taste of the spread and “slurping the honey” and the TikToker also noted how “these guys love cheese.”
The restaurANT has also gone down just as well online, since the video has been viewed 4.7m times, with nearly 290,000 likes, and thousands of comments.
Some people shared their thoughts and amusement at the creative invention.
One person wrote: “Tell me you’re bored without telling me you’re bored.”
“But they didn’t wear a mask,” another person noted the restaurant’s lack of Covid rules.
Someone else added: “Definitely heaven for them.”
“Ok that’s actually interesting content. Why do I never come up with such ideas?” A fourth replied.
Meanwhile, another person was concerned with how the ants will pay to dine at the restaurant.
“They have ant pay from their ant phone at the entrance,” the TikToker joked in response.
In a follow-up video, @z.blogs updated her followers with a second day in her ant restaurant. This time she took recommendations on what to serve on her menu, and it looks like the ants were in for a right feast.

The ants could be seen tucking right into the treats, and the TikToker noted that the colony of ants particularly “loved” the coconut macaroons and pistachios.
