A viral TikTok shows a new dish created by a Dublin Chinese restaurant which is said to be “better than spice bags”.
ConorRyan75 uploaded a video of the meal he got in Summer Inn takeaway.
The Chicken Wrappo is a fried meal containing rice, chicken and curry in a wrap, meaning little mess and a full belly.
Mr Ryan described it as: “Deep fried, don’t even know how to describe it. It has rice, curry sauce.
“There's no chips in it, but it’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever had. Ten out of ten, you honestly need to try this thing out. Wow!”
The new meal deal, which could easily become the next spice bag, only costs €3.80, or €5.50 if you order a drink along with it.
A taste tester told Dublin Live: “I will definitely be ordering this over a spice bag from now on, it’s cheap, it’s easy to eat and it’s so filling.
“Honestly, don’t knock it until you try it. It’s basically a spring roll with a 3 in 1 inside. I hope this trend takes off and other takeaways add it to their menu.”
The fast food restaurant is located in Swords, Christ Church, Cabra, Finglas, Blanchardstown, Finglas and Tallaght.
