Many Dubliners on Grafton Street have been getting a horrific fright as a giant rat has been roaming the South side.
A TikTok video published by @Dublincrack shows a robotic rat scaring the life out of pedestrians in the capitals city centre.
Lots of people can be heard screaming and cursing at the creature as it runs out of boxes and bins in the area.
Others were seen clinging onto their partners and some were caught running away as fast as lightning.
The fake rat even got some funny looks from the gardai who were on duty in the area.
Meanwhile, many Dubs didn't even flinch at all.
The prank has gone viral on the social media app, getting over 75,000 views so far.
One viewer commented: "No reaction from the gardai coz he's one of our own."
Another said: "People in Dublin are used to worst things popping out at them."
A third posted: "Dublin people have seen too much, the unphased reactions are hilarious."
