TikTok video reveals you’ve been poaching your egg wrong this whole time

A TikTok has revealed that we’ve been poaching our eggs wrong this whole time.

Easter is only a few days away and out of all the eggs - boiled, scrambled, chocolate, fried - poached eggs are definitely our favourite.

But we found out there’s a proper method to it, rather than just violently boiling the egg and wondering why it explodes everywhere.

Social Media star, Cafe Maddy told her followers about her secret method, she said: “Here’s how to poach your egg perfectly every single time.

“First, crack your egg onto a sieve so the watery parts of the egg are filtered.

“Then, in a simmering pot of water add half a tablespoon of vinegar, stir and then carefully put your egg into the water.

“Gently stir around the egg just so the egg doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot and then once we get a nice rock shape, simmer for another five minutes and that’s it.”
