TikTok users who risked lives by parking a car on a level crossing for a shoot have been slammed for “stupidity at a staggering level”.
A 14-second clip on the video-sharing site showed a camera pointing at a Volkswagen on a level crossing.
It was captioned: “Would you take the risk to get the shot no one else would?”
British Transport Police are now probing the footage – taken at Bromley Cross, near Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Inspector Becky Warren said: “No picture or video is worth risking your life for, report the MEN.

"There is no excuse for not following safety procedures at level crossings.
"The behaviour shown by the individuals in this video is incredibly dangerous and reckless.”
Network Rail route director Phil James added: “The danger this person has put themselves and passengers in is sheer stupidity at a staggering level.
"Lives could so easily have been lost.
“We will be working with British Transport Police to make sure the person responsible for the video is brought to justice.”
TikTok said: “As we make clear in our community guidelines, we do not allow content that encourages, promotes or glorifies dangerous behaviour.
"We removed this video as soon as it was brought to our attention.”
Trespass on railways is a criminal offence with a fine of up to £1,000.
Train obstruction is punishable by up to two years’ jail.
TikTok has faced criticism for content, including so-called choking challenges and a fire prank.
