It’s not every day that something as simple as a humble kitchen roll holder can offer surprises.
TikTok users have been left baffled after a woman discovered a little known function of her kitchen roll holder- and people are stunned by the revelation.
A woman lifted the lid on the hidden function-which allows people to easily tear off individual sheets- and people cannot quite believe that they never knew before.

According to the Daily Star, commenters were left debating whether the loop design was there intentionally or whether it was a functionless flaw of manufacturing.
Luckily, Lee-Ann Larsen was on hand to put them out of their misery though.
She filmed a clip showing the real reason the two loops are added to the holder - and it is actually quite handy.
Lee-Ann then tucked the white paper towel in-between the small and large metal loops on the holder.
With ease, she then pulled the kitchen roll towards her which cut off a piece of the paper.
Saves having to struggle to tear a perfect square off with both of your hands!
Amazed by Lee-Ann's demonstration, many people were equally taken aback about the design and so fled to the comments to share their amazement.
One person commented: "I can't even find the words to explain how much my mind is blown."
Another user added: "Are we even qualified to be adults."
A third person voiced: "Yeah, I don't think I'm doing anything right anymore."
Someone else gasped: "TikTok has taught me that my whole life has been a mistake."
Meanwhile, a fifth user expressed: "I was today years old when I found out what that thing is for."
