TikTok user shows how you can save money in Dunnes Stores with mind blowing discount hack

A TikTok user has gone viral after she showed how you can save money in Dunnes Stores with a mind blowing discount hack amid the cost of living crisis.

Social media user @zarapaolozzi shared her grocery haul full of 14 brand name items costing just €22.07. Zara was able to get €10 off her shopping bill by just signing up to the Dunnes Stores app.

She said: “I just went to Dunnes to do a little top-up grocery haul, but I got the Dunnes app earlier. On it, if you sign up, all you literally have to do is get the app and sign up, and you get €10 off €30. So I just spent €22.07 on this and look what I got for €22.”

She showed her followers her groceries that consisted of six large eggs, a punnet of oranges, blueberries, strawberries, a large bottle of 7up, two bags of Tilda rice, sliced chicken breast, a tin of Batchelors baked beans, six pink lady apples, a box of porridge sachets, Alpro yoghurt and John West’s no-drain tuna.

The TikToker picked up some vegan ice cream at a discounted price too. She said: “It’s normally €5.79 to buy but that was also reduced, so I got that as well.”

She added: “I got two things of Tilda rice, Tilda, it’s not even Dunnes own brand. This is your sign to sign up and get that app. You also get vouchers. I also have €5 off €25, €3 off no matter what. It’s insane, I could literally go in and buy a chocolate bar for €3.50 and pay 50c”.

This trick has been working for others as they shared their Dunnes money saving experience. One said: “I also did a food shop in Dunnes today for the first time and spent €22 as well! And I got a huge haul too”.

Another added: “there's also a group on FB Dunnes voucher swap too which is great. I'm loving the bargains at Dunnes and some items are cheaper than Aldi” and a third person posted: “Hahah girl brought nearly the shop home for €22”.

A final person commented: “You should get the Lidl app too! Always discounts and if you’ve a Tesco Club Card they send you vouchers each month to spend based on your points”.
