TikTok Mum says her parenting 'makes people mad' as she bans kisses and Santa

A mum says her parenting style 'makes people mad' because she has banned kisses, sleepovers and even Santa.

Madison Chavez says she prefers a natural and gentle approach to parenting which means she refuses to let anyone outside of her home kiss her children, no one who lives outside of the home is allowed to stay over and they don't believe in Santa Claus.

Mum-of-three Madison, who is also pregnant with her fourth child, took to TikTok to reveal the things that she says annoys other people about how she chooses to parent.

In the video Madison is seen dancing with her toddler daughter as the rules flash up on screen: "We don't allow ANYBODY but us to kiss our kids.

"We don't do Santa in our home.

"We won't ever allow sleepovers."

In a previous video Madison also revealed she practices 'extended nursing' (breastfeeding past 12 months) and shares a bed with her children.

Madison has also shared some of her other parenting choices she makes which have garnered attention online.

Such as; practicing gentle parenting, not allowing people to post pictures of her babies and no visitors allowed after giving birth.

Some TikTok users let her know their feelings.

One said: "Sleepovers were the best part of growing up... stop being scared."

Another added: "You got me until Santa. let them kids be kids god damn lol."

"I don't get the Santa one. I think it is terrible on kids especially when they go to school and hear all the other kids talking about it." said another.

But not everyone disagreed with her.

One said: "I don't understand why people get so upset. If you and your kids are happy and you're raising little humans to be great humans that's all that matters."
