Tiktok goes wild over Salt & Chilli Mac 'n' Cheese and alcoholic Irn-Bru float at Glasgow restaurant

Glasgow is full of incredible cafes and restaurants with many visiting just for the food - or the film sets.

And can we blame them? Of course not.

But with more people downloading TikTok, it appears we may see them flock to the city to try our food with salt and chilli becoming the latest trend amongst foodies.

Now obviously we're not the only place to serve up some salt and chilli scran, but Glasgow TikTokers Kevin & Kieran D’Arcy took to the viral video platform to show off what they were having - and safe to say our mouths are watering right now.

The pair visited Merchant City's, Nonna Said and ordered Salt and Chilli Mac & Cheese which they described as "insane" as well as their Salt and Chilli Chicken Pizza - and FYI if you like lots of melted cheese, this is for you.

The mouth-watering pizza comes with fried chicken, salt and chilli spices, chilli, spring onion, curry mayo. Have no fear if you're gluten-free as they can cater to dietary restrictions on some of their menu items.

In addition to this, they also ordered Deep Fried Lasagne Cubes which they say is a "game-changer" as well as an alcoholic Irn-Bru float.

There seems to be a big salt and chilli trend lately as an Ayrshire café also went viral for their salt and chilli tattie scones which begs the question...what food can we season next?
