Tesco has become an unlikely social media sensation thanks to a viral video on TikTok.
Little Moons mochi desserts have become the hottest ice cream product on the market after the Japanese-inspired snacks became a hit on video-sharing platform TikTok.
Over the last week, TikTok users have been heading to their local Tesco to buy the treats and taste test them on camera. The hashtag #littlemoons has now racked up more than 45 million views on the short-video platform.
The mini desserts are available to buy in several flavours - including Creamy Coconut and Passionfruit & Mango - with each box setting shoppers back £4.50.

Little Moons mochi bites are gluten free and are made by wrapping bite-sized balls of gelato ice cream in a layer of soft mochi dough that has a soft and chewy texture.
The reviews have generally been pretty positive, with some fans claiming they're 'obsessed'.
A video posted by a TikTok user called @emilyturton21 has been commented on more than 3,000 times so far.
Little Moons co-founder Howard Wong said: "It’s been incredible to watch this go viral and seeing how much people are loving Little Moons.
"Our sales have gone up exponentially and we’re seeing empty shelves across all of our retailers which we’re rushing to re-stock so we don’t disappoint people trying to get their hands on their Little Moons."
The popular Little Moons mochi ice cream bites can be found online and at Tesco supermarkets across the UK.
