TikTok Can’t Stop Praising This $30 Acne-Fighting Body Spray

tbh-skincare-spray

Hot girls get body acne. And as someone who regularly breaks out across my back and shoulders, I’m always on the hunt for a solution that’ll ease the angry red pimples that appear all over my upper body post-workout. So, my interest was piqued when a new product promising to banish post-gym bacne from cult brand tbh Skincare started doing the rounds on TikTok.

The skincare product in question is tbh Skincare’s new Body Spritz ($29.95), an anti-bacterial spray intended for those moments when you can’t immediately shower after a sweat sesh. Its key ingredients include allantoin, which smooths and softens skin while helping it look less reactive, as well as marshmallow root extract, which is a calming agent.

From Pilates princesses to gym gals, dozens of TikTok fitness girls are praising the product for helping keep them acne-free if they can’t shower immediately after a workout. (Hey, it happens!)

“I’m a little bit obsessed,” said influencer Clare Stevenson in a video she highlighted as not being sponsored content (although doesn’t disclose if it was gifted or purchased).

While the Body Spritz isn’t the first spray to hit the market — Tower 28 and Briotech both make similar products — tbh Skincare co-founder Rachael Wilde told PEDESTRIAN.TV there was still a clear gap in the market.

“We wanted to do what we do best: create something smarter, more effective, backed by science, at a price point our customers are after and perfectly suited to those with skin that is prone to throwing temper tantrums,” Rachael said.

Wilde says the airless pump — which allows you to spray even when the bottle is upside down, allowing you to treat hard-to-access areas like your back — is the real game-changer.

“Honestly, I just think it’s something that’s been missing and it’s so basic,” Rachael said in a TikTok video.

“Body acne used to seriously knock my confidence,” Rachael admitted. “I’d avoid certain outfits, cancel beach days, just because I didn’t want my breakouts on show.”

The Body Spritz has been a long time coming, with the tbh Skincare team finding a way to transform their hero patented technology from their original spot treatment and anti-bacterial cleanser into their new body acne-fighting spray. The result? A gentle-exfoliating mist that helps keep your skin clear.

“People are calling it their new go-to for clearing up body breakouts, which is such a pinch-me moment for the team and I,” Rachael tells me. And she’s not joking. The product became Priceline’s third highest selling skincare product just four weeks after its release.

You can pick up a bottle of tbh Skincare’s Body Spritz for $29.95 on their website or at Priceline.
