Tightrope walker teeters precariously above Salford Quays during death defying stunt

This is the moment a daredevil tightrope walker teetered hundreds of feet above Salford Quays during a death defying stunt.

Incredible images show the talented stuntman Chris Bullzini walking above the water and the crowds during the Quays Festival.

Bullzini could be seen walking across a high wire suspended far above the water between The Alchemist and MediaCity on Sunday afternoon.

At one point the talented acrobat stunned fans by doing a headstand on the rope while holding onto his balance beam.

His impressive show brought the four-day festival to a close.

The weekend event saw the crowds flock to Salford Quays to enjoy dance and circus skills workshops in the MediaCityUK gardens.

There was also an enormous inflatable maze, with dozens of domes and tunnels to explore.

The luminarium, at the piazza at MediaCityUK, was designed by Architects of Air for the festival.
