DETROIT _ Thunderstorms that raced through the area Wednesday forced the postponement of the second game of the Yankees-Tigers series at Comerica Park.
The game will be played as part of a straight doubleheader beginning at 1:10 p.m. Thursday.
The Tigers are expected to start Matthew Boyd in Game 1 and Spencer Turnbull in the nightcap. The Yankees are expected to counter with J.A. Happ in Game 1 and CC Sabathia in the second game.
