The Justin Verlander trade is officially complete.
On Friday night, the Tigers announced the inclusion of outfielder Juan Ramirez as the previously mentioned Player To Be Named Later in the deal.
Ramirez, 18, was signed out of the Dominican Republic two seasons ago.
In 2017, he hit .301 with 11 stolen bases for the Gulf Coast League Tigers. In 163 at-bats, Ramirez hit six doubles, two triples and no home runs. He hit .297 as a 17-year-old in the Dominican Summer League last year.
With the announcement, the final trade is: Verlander and Ramirez to the Astros for top right-handed pitching prospect Franklin Perez, center fielder prospect Daz Cameron and catching prospect Jake Rogers.
