Golf Digest are set to release a Tiger Woods celebrity lesson series, filmed the day before his car crash.
The golfing icon only a day later lost control of his car in a horrific crash in the Los Angeles area.
Woods sustained incredible amounts of damage to his fibia and tibia which required rods and pins to aid his stability.
Currently the 45-year-old remains at home resting from injuries he previously described as a “different beast”.
The 15-time major winner is no stranger to injuries throughout his career undergoing multiple surgeries, especially on his back.
The four-part series is a casual playing lesson with each of his celebrity friends across five episodes.
The guests for the series include actress and talk show host Jada Pinkett Smith, NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade, and comedian David Spade.
Episode one is out today on Golf Digest with first guest Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of actor Will Smith. Speaking in a short clip of the series on YouTube, Smith details how Woods inspired her to play golf.
“I got into golf, right around the time Tiger won the Masters (2019)”.
“And I thought, ok, this games got something for me I’m going to take it seriously”.
Woods told Forbes golf that it was the most fun he’d ever had filming on a golf course.
“Shooting this series was some of the most fun I’ve ever had filming on the golf course,”
“Each guest brought a unique perspective on life, both professionally and personally. I’m always inspired by others who are considered the best at what they do and learning about how they made it to the top.
Golf Digest will continue to release each episode once a week with the final episode featuring behind the scenes footage.
