Tiger Woods’ world ranking chart is the most satisfying thing after his Masters win

Tiger Woods is back. That phrase gives you goosebumps, doesn’t it?

Although his Masters win on Sunday doesn’t mean he’s the world’s No. 1 golfer — that distinction now belongs to Dustin Johnson after his runner-up finish at Augusta — Tiger is all the way up sixth. SIXTH! AT 43 YEARS OLD! Last week he was just outside the top 10 at No. 12.

Which brings us to one of our favorite recurring features here at For The Win: Looking at Woods’ Official World Golf Rankings chart. In recent years, we’ve turned it upside down or celebrated when it went up for the first time in a while. And then when he was 539th in the world, we rejoiced.

Beautiful.
