Tiger Woods' two words after being presented with Green Jacket for The Masters 2019 win

Tiger Woods appeared right at home as he was presented with the Green Jacket once again.

Woods rolled back the years to claim his fifth but finest Masters victory at Augusta.

The American was second going into the final day, two shots off leader Francesco Molinari but his collapse opened the door for Woods.

He delivered key birdies on the 15th and 16th and went on to secure victory, winning his first Major in 11 years.

Woods was presented with the Green Jacket by Patrick Reed with an official presentation unable to take place due to the weather.

And he delivered a defiant response as he wore it for the first time since 2005.

"It fits", the American said as he smiled after the incredible achievement.

Woods admits his rise to the front of the leaderboard came as a surprise: "I was just trying to plod my way around the golf course all day, just plod my way around.

"All of a sudden I had the lead, and going down 18 I was just trying to make a 5."

Woods celebrated with his team, children Charlie and Sam, mother and girlfriend Erica Herman as he was lauded by the Augusta crowd.

The images evoked memories of his first success at Augusta in 1997 when he celebrated with his father.

"When the putt went in, I don't know what I did, but I was just trying to find Charlie.

"It was me there hugging my Dad in 1997 and now it's me hugging Charlie. It's come full circle.

"When I was there with my Dad, he shouldn't have been there that year. He was recovering from a heart attack, from heart surgery.

"Sam actually lost a state soccer tournament yesterday, so I convinced her to come up and watch The Masters."
